Founded in 2019 by Principal Billy Cullum, a British Actor and Choreographer. Billy trained at Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Arts Educational School of Musical Theatre and is continuing a successful career in London’s West End with credits including Russell T Davies’ It’s a Sin, The Netflix movie of Matilda as well as the West End production, RENT, Jesus Christ Superstar, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Little Shop of Horrors, the World Premiere of ‘Leave to Remain’ and many more.

KiPA offers all students a truly unique experience working with incredible industry professionals from London’s West End Theatre and beyond.

Billy’s close association with the theatre industry puts KiPA at the forefront of weekend Musical Theatre Training. His relationships with leading performers, directors, casting directors, agents, producers, writers, musical directors and choreographers makes the opportunities for KiPA students extremely exciting.

One thing KiPA is extremely passionate about is to address under-representation and a lack of diversity in the Arts. This is something we will aim to work on throughout KiPA’s exciting future. We hope the rich diversity of KiPA will be reflected in our teachers, our students and the career paths they follow.

KiPA’s mission is to inspire confidence, nurture raw talent and achieve excellence in training ‘Triple Threat’ performers: Actors, Singers and Dancers. Above all we want students to reach their full potential in a lively, fun environment that encourages the freedom to explore their creativity and individuality.

What to expect:

  • Learning choreography from West End Shows, Number 1 UK tours, Audition routines and original material.

  • Developing awareness of the body through dance technique; Studying a variety of styles including commercial, contemporary and jazz.

  • Gaining essential skills in acting from voice work to studying specific practitioner’s techniques.

  • Group singing classes improving technique, tone, harmony, vocal range whilst exploring a variety of musical styles.

  • On top of all of this, KiPA will provide exciting masterclass workshops, showcases, opportunities to audition for professional work and the opportunity to sign with top London Theatrical Agencies.
